This last weekend was spent with the Thuernagle family at the Woolstenhulme Farm (my mom's place) Jon, Oliver, Clayton and their families headed up to the farm for a fun filled reunion. It started off with Jon grilling up Elk steaks and fresh Salmon (he caught it 5 days earlier at the Oregon coast) YUMMY! Oliver then provided fabulous dessert...I don't know the name of what he made but it was something deep fried and delicious. We got up in the morning and the Boys headed off to do some mowing. Daryl hooked up 3 teams with mowers and they headed out to mow the hay. They spend a few hours working hard while the girls rode the 4 wheelers with the kids. After the work we just had to play! We headed over to Bear Lake and played in the water and soaked up the sun...literally! Several of us got sunburned pretty badly. We headed home for a fabulous dinner by Oliver & Keisha! Dutch oven chicken, Oliver's famous corn and some freshly made french fries....YUMMY! Steve and I headed home that night so we didn't get to enjoy dessert which I believe was going to be triple berry cobbler also made in the dutch oven. We had a fabulous time and are looking forward to going again soon. My brothers should open a restaurant....they are gourmet chefs!

Whipped Cream Beaters!

On Sunday Abby and I were super hot...so, we put on our Hawaii wrap. Abby is modeling the wrap that Aunt Gretchen gave to me when she went to Hawaii after her mission. In these pictures Abby is helping 'bake' as she calls it. Really, we are whipping cream for a pie. You will also see Steve and Abby enjoying the beaters when I finished using them.

Carnival Time!

Here is the other half of the reunion picture's. I didn't take too many today because I was chatting too much to really worry about it. There was a whole different crowd here today than last night. It was fun to see everyone interacting with THEIR children. The first few are of some more friends and then the last 5 are of Abigail having a blast at the carnival. They had a Jumpy which she loved....she went fishing and got a fabulous purple necklace that she is still wearing and I am sure will continue to wear for the next while. She got her face painted with a ladybug and definitely enjoyed the cotton candy. I really enjoyed the food. My cousin Jeanne was in charge of the food today and she made pulled pork sandwich's, fresh fruits and her mother and sister did scones (YUMMY!) Abby and I had a fun time all around. It was really great to see all of the friends that I have missed over the last 10 years!

This is obviously at graduation....but that was then, and now you can see pictures of the reunion. The 2 friends I am with weren't able to make the reunion, so I couldn't do a 10 year comparison....maybe they will catch the 20 year!

This is now...10 YEAR REUNION...WOW!

I attended the first half of my 10 year High School Reunion tonight and had an absolute blast! It was really fun and intersting to see so many people that I haven't seen in 10 years. I can't believe it has already been 10 years since I graduated.....but here are a few fun shots with some old friends. Those of you who couldn't or didn't make it, you were missed. It was a pretty good turnout.....I had a great time!

Here is Abby all dirty from playing in the dirt. She was in her Jadles(PJ's) and wanted to come out and help me change the water early that morning. She always heads straight for the dirt. This time, she had bacon and cheese to accompany her.

This is Steve and Abby enjoying the pool out back. It was 86 degrees the other day but a little windy for my taste when it comes to swimming outside. They had a great time. About an hour into swimming, some of our friends came over and the next few pics are all of them swimming.

In the picture below we have from left to right.....Shayleen, Abby, Hannah, Olivia, and hiding in the back is Amelia. They had a great time. This is Abby AFTER swimming. She was exhausted (she actually uses that word) It is pretty funny to hear her say exhausted. Our sunshade got broken somehow so we need to get another so she isn't baking in the sun all the time in the car.

Chicken coop

Here is one of MOST of the kids at the zoo...we are missing bits and pieces of each family. The kids are playing in a new little chicken coop thing. There is a huge nest, chicken, and egg that they can play on. There was also a zoo worker that did a story time for them while they were playing in the chicken coop.

MORE SUMMER FUN!

We had fun yesterday! We went to the Zoo with our Mother's group and it was the perfect weather for it. The animals were out and about enjoying the nice weather. After the zoo we headed to the new park over by the softball diamonds. This is the 3rd time now that we have been to this park in a week. We love it! As you can see, Steve had the day off and joined in the fun. He had a great time playing with Abby on the toys and going on the slide himself. I have a little video of Abby and Steve going down the slides. What a fun day!

Girls Day Out!

I decided that I was tired of the scragglie look with noodle! So, we headed out for Abby Kate's first Day of beauty. She did pretty good. She wouldn't sit on the bench thingy by herself so I ended up just holding her on my lap and it worked out great. She loved the ice cream cape and it kept her busy naming all the different treats.
